Red Chile


Instructions:

1- 28oz The Authentic New Mexican frozen red chile puree (2-14oz)
2- defrost chile and blend for 5 minutes
3- pour into a medium saucepan on medium heat, add 1 tbsp. garlic powder, 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. oregano. Stir and cook on medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes. You can add water to chile if it is too thick.
4- adding meat is optional. You can add ground beef to make enchiladas, Frito pies, chile dogs. You can use pork for adding to beans, for breakfast on eggs and potatoes

5- if adding meat, cook meat thoroughly, then add to the red chile
If you need to thicken your chile you can add flour to your meat until coated and then add meat to the chile and cook for about 5 minutes longer before serving.

Cooked Posole

Ingredients:
2 lbs lean pork cut into 1 inch cubes
2 lg cloves of fresh garlic (chopped)
4 qts water
1- 28 oz The Authentic New Mexican frozen red chile (2-14oz)
1 lg white onion
2 lbs The Authentic New Mexican frozen posole corn
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp oregano

Instructions:1. Place pork, whole onion, garlic chopped, salt and water in a large stock pot2. Bring mixture to a boil at high heat then reduce heat and skim foam from the top.3. Prepare TANM red chile as directed on container4. Add red chile sauce to the pot5. Rinse TANM frozen posole corn6. Add to pot and boil for approximately 2 hours or until corn pops.7.
